Florida Beach Wedding Locations
There are many beach wedding locations in central Florida to choose from. Pinellas County and Sarasota County have some of the best wedding beaches in the area, and each beach has its own appeal, for couples have wide ranging preferences when it comes to beach weddings in Florida. Destination Beach Weddings are very popular here at every beach in the area. Couples from across the country and beyond tie the knot on these beautiful beaches here in Florida year round. A few things to mention are that all the beaches are public beaches, there are no private beaches here in Florida. There is metered parking at all beaches whether you are just sun bathing or getting married on the beach. Very few beaches allow tented receptions on the beach, Clearwater Beach does have specific areas where a beach wedding ceremony and tented reception can take place, but there are permit fees associated with this process.
Pinellas County beaches do not allow alcohol on the beach, but Sarasota County does allow alcohol on their beaches (Siesta Key). There are no covered areas at most beaches but Sunset Beach does have a covered pavillion and Sand Key Beach has a couple of shelters as well as Siesta Key. All beaches have permit fees required in order to celebrate a beach wedding at their specific beach location.
